Genie Scissor Lifts

Self-propelled Genie scissor lifts are the access platform of choice for many. Why?, because they are ideal for gaining high up access where workspace and heavy lifting capacity are a priority. Most commonly used in construction, manufacturing, industrial, maintenance and distribution warehouses where quick efficient access is required, the Genie Scissor lift could be the right choice for your access issue.

Our scissor lifts are suitable for either large loads, narrow access areas, indoor or outdoor use, use on flat slab, slopes, uneven ground or rough terrains and are available in a range of working heights up to 17m with lifting capabilities of up to 454kg and can operate in a workspace of just 1.73m x 5.8m.

With simple controls, a range of compact sizes, excellent maneuverability and power options including electric, diesel, bi-energy, 2wd and 4wd these Genie Scissor mobile aerial work platforms are ideal for working in most situations.

Upright Scissor lifts from our well maintained fleet are available to hire or we can provide new or used models for purchase.

JLG Scissor Lift Range

Scissor lifts are used where less reach and height, but more workspace and lifting capacity, are required. JLG Scissor lifts are designed to provide larger platform work areas and generally to allow for heavier loads than boom lifts, one reason being that the lift does not have to contend with so much sideways pressure, the scissor action being vertical in fashion. JLG Scissor lifts may be maneuvered in a manner similar to boom lifts and are available in various electric and petrol / diesel powered (rough terrain) models with maximum platform heights of up to 15.24 m.
