Aerial Boom Lifts
When access is required at height it is often
necessary to use some form of lift to raise either personnel
or equipment so that work can commence. Boom lifts
are just one example of such work lifts, these being suitable
for a huge variety of purposes, both internal and external.
Difficult terrain also is no problem as aerial boom lifts
can be provided with either all terrain tyres or tracks. We
can even supply units that can be fitted to the rear of vehicles,
both HGV and non HGV. The reason to use such platforms is
often driven by safety, especially with the LOLER and Working
at Heights legislation. Whatever your needs are, The Platform
Company can help, we can help you choose the right type of
equipment, and show you all the means of acquiring it.
Purchase or Rent Aerial Boom Work Lifts
In some cases it is best to buy new boom
lift equipment, in others secondhand equipment is the
better bet. In other cases again, hiring the required access
platforms offers the best route. We have access to a large
base of equipment for hire, with depots throughout the UK,
plus we always have a selection of used equipment. Plus of
course we can source new access equipment for you from all
the major aerial lift manufactures.
Articulating Telescoping Boom Lifts
In some cases the equipment needs to
have the ability to "bend" so that it can reach
into difficult areas. Such booms are called articulating
telescoping boom lifts, these not only being able to
reach to great heights, but also to bend at various points.
